old car, old radio, changing speakers, want amp

I have a factory Ford AM-FM mono radio in my car (finally, thanks RangerSVO although I found one on eBay instead) and will be putting in different speakers shortly. I'll be staying mono and I have one speaker in the dash and two on the back deck, factory sizes. I know the rears are 6x9 and the front is 4x6. And then I have some kind of amplifier. Want to know if this will work, so here's what I have to install in the car:

    Urban 150w 2 channel amp
    2x Alpine 6x9 speakers, 200w
    2x Alpine 4x6 speakers, 150w

I only have room in the dash for the one 4x6. I only want to power the rear speakers with the amplifier. Can I install the 2-channel amp if it's getting two mono signals from the factory radio, and wire L to the L and R to the R and it won't care that it's the same signal? I know I also need a power wire, this will be traveling about 20-25 feet from the battery to where the amp will be, what gauge wire do I need to run to handle 2 200w speakers on a 150w amp?

I know this is probably a stupid simple question I have here but all input will be appreciated. I just want to be able to hear my music going down the road and I'm not changing radios, don't want anything not factory Ford in my Torino but the speakers are hidden so I don't care about that, and I'm not putting another head unit in hidden somewhere so it can get stolen. Someone steals my amp and 6x9's that's one thing...
