Ok, here's the update on my subs...

    I just got me 2 15 inch fosgate hx2's in a custom box for 235... is that a good deal or no ? What kind of amp would I need to power these subs ? Somethin not too expensive... thanks

    Cool. What about an amp ? I was lookin at some hifonics amps. Would u suggest any other kind of amp ?

    hifonics is a great budget brand. they dont put out rated, but they do slam. for those subs, also check out the audioque 1200d, its around the same price range, is a stout amp, puts out rated and more.

    i haven't heard much of them either... before i bought them, the guy selling them let me hear em, and these things beat like crazy... i got to buy my amp and go get them installed

    I have a set of 12" HX2's and I damaged my ear with them within 10 min. of hooking them up. I am somewhat limited in my experience as I have ben out of it for 15 yrs. But I had a pro install these and he advised me not to get them , that I really had no idea how potent they were.I powered them with a Fosgate power 750x4 and it was more than I could handle. HX2's are very ,very powerful.
