OK. I have 2 dual 2 ohm l7 12s wired in series to 2 ohms. My amp is a DEI Viper 1200.1d. I'm a little confused though, it is supposed to be a mono amp and it has 2 channels. So I bridged the amp (which I didnt think was possible on a mono amp). The amp manual said something about the amp being wired parallel inside it or something. I AM SO CONFUSED. Some help would be great.

if the amp is a mono amp, then it just has two outputs -(parallel outputs that are not in stereo). bridging them will do nothing (unless you reverse polarity on one side - not recomended!). if you have two 2ohm subs in series, then they are at 4 ohm. disconnect what you have setup, and wire each of the subs to it's own output from the amp.

Hautwheeler is correct. The amp only has two outputs for multi-sub connections. Doesn't matter which + or - you use. Is that amp 1 ohm stable or 2 ohm stable?
