Hey bud, good to see you around. I hope all is well with you. The ZRS-8s are ~$500, going to ~$650 for the ZRS-10. Customer cost of course. Dealer cost is ~$50 more on the ZRS-8 compared to the A7.
 I like orange, but those amps are absolutly beautiful. I want one... or maybe two. They are remodeling the other amps to match right?
Word is, there will be a new line (kinda like the A series). The ZRS-8 thru 10s are available now. I have some more specs, but I think the teaser with 5000WRMS@2ohms and a burp button with built in voltmeter speak well enough for themselves. The top window lights with blue lights as well. Stunningly sexy amps IMHO. Massive features, and massive power to go with it all.
Brax and Zapco amplifiers are absolutley beautiful. In my opinion, those Cadence amplifiers aren't up to par cosmetically with Brax/Zapco. However, it all depends on whats inside the amplifier, and not outside.
well. that picture just made me so excited. i cant wait to get my hands on a copy of those =) seth let me know when there available.
too bad the management at cadence want to be assholes, and use outdated busness platforms
Are you still bitter about Cadence not letting you sell authorized? It's not going to do you any good to hold a grudge!
oh i rem that. i think i ordered one of the last things from cadence that michael sold me. that amp hasent let me down yet. and ive sure abused the power it provides
im guessing the 8 is the 1500 watter... hmmmm.. oh well.. i have the same issue that Michael does.... Cadence decided to cut off my supplier also so....
Are you still bitter about Cadence not letting you sell authorized? It's not going to do you any good to hold a grudge! [/b][/quote] no no no I mean too bad for the consumer Cadence is not a Widly avaible Authorized line like say kicker so if you dont have a local dealer you have to buy unauthorized, and since they successfully cut off 90% of the "good" unauthorized dealers, that leave the less than honest ones, and people that have to sell "under the table" then you have the "dealer" that are charging sometimes above Retail for the Cadence Products, because they know they can, I know of 2 of these dealers that former cadence customers of mine have told me about Nothing to do with a grudge, they can not make me one for any reason they wish, but they do need a web dealer, me or someone else
Oh, sorry! heh... I agree completely, but I can also see the logic in their decision... They want the street cred, the industry cred... they want the sort of customers who do go to shops seeking high end... I can understand it. I obviously don't support that business model, as I would rather support the DIY enthusiast than mommy's-spoiled-kids... or rather the DIY enthusiast than someone who just wants to write a check... But that's because I consider myself a pretty die-hard DIY'er, in more than just audio even... and I want to support people who share my values, just as I am sure we all do. B) So hey.. Sorry about that though, I really thought you still had a grudge (don't be too hard on me... I know you still hate Adire! )
I dont Understand it at all The Biggest Names in the Industry are lerning they need Web dealers to survive The ONLY way to stop unauthorized web sales is to have a good selection of AUTHORIZED web dealers.........\ it is the basic econmic princible of supply and demand, there is a demand for the products to be sold over the internet, so some one will supply it the Car Audio Industry reminds me so much of the Entertainment industry where instead of LISTENING to THEIR consumers, they try to CONTROL their consumers, oh and I justifibly hold a grudge against adire... Mr Dan pissed me off,
i would tend to agree with the authorized internet dealers, why is that medium any different from the store front in certain respects? Certain steps should be taken to help ensure the quality of service, price setting and etc. by the reps. I went to pick up the JL line for my (little) store and they came out and said no. My back room of my house wasnt what they wanted, even though we had the knowledge, understanding and a simple but workable display setup. They said we had to have a seperate retail building. Why should it be any different to inspect the online retailer in terms of website, shipping arrangments, and sales support after the sale? Its just details of a business like measuring sqft of a shop or install bay. I do understand the anominity involved with internet sales, but why are a lot of companies simple ignoring that medium instead of trying to exploite iT? h34r:
