I was looking into getting some new HID halogen bulbs for my low beam headlights. I went to the local autozone and the guy told me that many people have burned the wires coming directly from the bulb, once they were installed. I still want the lights so any answers to this mishap?
Hmmm, if this is true, then DONT PUT THEM IN! In all honesty i have not ever messed with them, but sounds like they draw quite a bit of current. may need to upgrade the wiring to handle the current..... But everytime i see those dammed things coming at me down the highway, i turn on the KC daylighters On my rollbar to give back what they sent out..........I HATE those things.. they are TOO bright in my opinion
I'd say dish out the dough for the LED upgrade head lights....pull almost no current so you won't have to worry about straining your alternator anymore at night when you have your system turned up. I wish I had the money for em but their like 250 bucks
Hey...they generate almost no heat and pull almost no current...I want them because my lights dim...but I'm start going crazying on the grounding thing...I think my truck has a grounding problem cuz the lights shouldn't be dimming with only 500 watts rms
i know that BMW i smashed a motor into did...lol the best way done to accomplish something like a euro look is to upgrade to ultraclear head lenses and maybe the wiring depending on the car but ive never heard of such a thing though, but i know the PIAA work fine with out any upgrades
