Im new to this whole car sound system thing so I really need some help. I have an 02 M Grand Marquis and I am trying to get some good sound put into the crap system that is there. I need the cd player, changer, speakers, and whatever else is nessesary. I was looking the Pioneer set up with TS-A6992R in the rear doors and TSA6981 in the front. What else would I need to set up these speakers to get good clean tones from them and the most power? somebody help!

Id say Im looking to pay no more than $400. Im not really looking for subs right now. Just the cd player and speakers. I dont know if I need the amps though. Also, what is a reasonable cost to to have hese things all in installed at the same time?

I just recently added an amp for my door speakers and i will tell you right now the difference is so huge i sometimes just drive without my sub on.

Head unit power is very weak...and also my amp for my speakers is only giving them about 20-25 watts rms...soon to be a bigger amp.

My speakers are best buy model kenwood 6x8s also.

    What vehicle is this??

A cd changer is not necessary...spend that money towards a better quality head unit.

I recently just bought a pioneer premier 590ib off ebay for 155 bucks including shipping.

I installed a pioneer 490 in my friends explorer with infinity 6x8s all around....didn't sound half bad.

deck power can suffice until you get some money for an amplifier.
