    Isuzu Rodeo:
Front speakers: Kicker 6.5 KS component (new)
Rear speakers: Kicker 4" R4 (old)
    EQ: Kenwood (old)
    Amp: Autotek "Street Machine" 4100x / 4 ch x 100w (old)

Recently installed. looks like the installer bridge the amp. ch1/2 for the front speakers. ch3/4 for rear. When I had this amp installed years ago with 4 speaker setup, the installer did not hook it up like this. Prob is, now I have no left to right fade. Is there a good reason he hooked it up this way and should I leave it be.

Also have a whining coming through my tweets that goes up and down with my engine rpm.

maybe he was just trying to get more power to the speakers.still not a good idea.no balance!

if you can get to the amp you maybe able to fix the prob your self. just rearrange some wires is all.

the rear you can leave in mono.its an old school thing.
unless you want those in stereo too.

the noise may be a pinched wire,or...is the amp bolted to metal?then it mat be a ground issue.

my tweets did the same thing.was because i had my amps screwed to the floor of my suv.had to use nylon washers to fix it.
