First of all I cannot stop drooling over the 350Z! This car is BEATIFUL and POWERFUL.......Once this bad boy comes out in TT which I hope it does it will become a classes like its younger sister the 300ZX TT. Another thing, Everyday I appreciate the new Altima more and more. The 2.5's are nice but the 3.5's are even nicer. If I had a 3.5 in stick all my problems would be solved. If anyone can surprise me with a 350Z, I dont care if its stolen or what I will declare you the King of my city and will give you one night with Britney YOU CANT LOSE!
unfortunately, there wont be a 350Z TT...N/A only. one company (i cant remember the link) pulled out the vq35de out in place of a rb26det (single t for single turbo--it was converted). i also happen to love the new Z, and wouldnt mind having a new one, and a 70 Z also. :robot: eric
Never say never... Besides, if a turbo is what you want... there's nothing stopping you from turbo'ing up a stock 350Z - I'm pretty sure there are already kits on the market, and most of those kits are pretty good, they take care of the engine management side of things, and aren't too aggressive with the boost... The 350Z is a pretty quick car, stock. Even a nice mild turbo setup would make for quite a contender on the street, I'd think.

[/b][/quote] yeah there are turbo kits out for it already...and if need be it you could always bullet-proof the engine and go with more boost...yum
youre right, it COULD be done...im doubting they ever will though. in order to make 280 hp N/A out of a 3.5 liter v6, nissan had to optimize everything for N/A, including pretty high compression, and a bit of a wild cam. neither of which make for good forced induction use. *off to work* eric
I get to see 350Z's almost every week. Someones a Nissan lover where I park for work. Got a black Sentra GXE, Black Maxima, and a Black 350Z. The seem to rotate around. I dont know how many times I almost ran into something while looking at the 350Z though. I usually try to park my sentra nearest to it thinking I'll meet up with the owner one day. Maybe they'll give me a ride or something... :baby:
i agree about the 350, at the shop i work at, we put a procharger on one with the nismo header, and cat back, and it was awesome, almost made me wanna trade in my 300zx on one...too bad i cant afford payments...and the TT kit for them is alright, but as nismo said, you would def have to lower compression to handle a great amount of boost, but with the procharger (which is a supercharger, not a turbo setup), i didnt feel that the amount of time and money spent made it worthwhile...now granted the owner also paid for it in cash, along with a set of 19" BBS wheels etc etc, but i still cant justify that kind of cash for 100 hp...
I agree. I have never been a huge fan of blowers. Blowers rob alot of power to gain power. I'm not much into the parasitic way to make power. Now a turbo... Mmmmmm. I love the sound of a turbo, the feeling you get when the lag gets overcome.... BAM!!! like a frikken shot!
