New to forum, figure id let u guys check out the new build!

This is my most recent build, just got the subs in today, hopefully have more pics put up later, amp will be here shortly.

Running three kicker c10s off an Autotek SM1-1000 amp.

I used 3/4 inch MDF and used the bondo with the chopped glass as a body filler for the seams and the screw holes, gave it a good sanding and about 4 coats of primer, and threw a lil black for a smoke finish, and thats what i got! lol. The stars and my last name are engraved also. It took time, but i thought it was a good finished product..

 

well, this is really it. I had two 12s in a 3.5cubic foot box, tuned to about 35hz, but i got tired of the just straigt break ur face bass! lol so i toned it down and went with the 10s, but ive done the big three, have a ho alternator, clarion equalizer in a custom lil console i built, ill put a pic up of that also, ive got a flip out monitor, infinity 6.5 up front and infinity 6x8s in the back, its not much but it sounds suprisingly good, it fits my needs! lol..i just don't want to spend too much money because im about to start college in a month.

 

thanks man, i just got the subs in the box, used 8 gauge tsunami power wire for my speaker wire. amp will be here thursday! can't wait to hear it!!

 

lol..cut me some slack on the hu, got it when i was 16 and didn't know much! lol, hence the equalizer and all, just haven't gotten around to gettin a new one! haha

alright man, ill try it! Thanks. U think i should move up to 2 gauge wire? i have 4 right now all the way around, but im only going to be pulling about 600 rms. I think it should be fine right? i have 8 gauge as speaker wire! lol..go big!

ok guys, so i got the amp and all in, got everything hooked up, and i HATE the kickers. They sound great with hip hop and rap, but they just don't sound good with classic rock and alternative, i have to turn them WAY down for them to sound even metiocre. It aggrivates the **** out of me. They do get wayyy loud thought for 10s, i was suprised there, but im by no means impressed with them. All well, ill sell them to some rich kid daddys boy!
