Well, I have been slowly gathering equipment to put in the old Ranger. The Lincoln will be gone soon so I am trying to get it together as soon as I can. This is pretty much what I have so far.

Headunit: TBA (unknown at this time)
Front Stage: SoundStream EXC.4 4" component set (42.90 shipped)
Rear Fill: JBL GTO8626 5x7" coxial (27.99 shipped)
Hi Amp: Blaupunkt PCA460 60x4 rms (51.00 shipped)
    Sub: Infinity Perfect 12.1 (owned)
    Box: 1.3 cu sealed (owned)
Sub Amp: Sony XM-D1000P5 500@4ohm rms (owned) [if it still works]

So thats about 110.00 in equipment so far plus I would say I have spent about 75.00 in install equipment like cables, spacers, brackets, distribution blocks and so forth and I estimate prolly another 25.00 in minor parts from the hardware store. So thats a total of 210.00 so far and I imagine I will prolly spend about 130-150 on a headunit so we are talking about 350.00 on the entire system. I love being a bargin shopper.

the amp fell about 6 feet on to concrete. I have had it for about 5-6 years now and has worked great so far. If it STILL works im going to be very confused after this.

I am selling the Lincoln because it is having some more mechanical issues and I have put enough money into already.. not going to take it anymore. Bought a ranger for 500 bucks in awesome shape so I am just going to drive that for a while.

well I checked the amp today and sure enough the damn thing still works... amazing. Hooked it up in the girls car and was able to push her sub with the car off and only 8 ga wire without any problems lol. Had the gain able 1/4 up and it was maxing that sub out. I have the Sony amp that just wont die.

whats really sad is im already planning a new system and I have yet to get the current one in yet. Eventually, if i see that the Ranger is running good and going to last a while. I will actually put a lot more time in installing a really good system. From what I can tell I will put Polk Momo 5.25" components in the doors and some AA Poly 6.5" high excursion mid drivers next to them all powered by a PG xenon 100.4 . perrrrrfect. totally remove the rear speakers as with that much sound out of the doors.. no rear fill is going to help lol. Deaden the doors real good and ill be set.

All the while , normal truck upgrades are planned to go into effect in a couple weeks. Going to Herculine it myself, throw a nice big metal took box along the front of the bed for extra storage. Remove the tailgate and throw up a strong net due to the fact the tailgate lever is half broke and I could care less about the tailgate anyways. Get some new tires , wheels are fine but needs some new shiney lugnuts and center caps. After all that going to get a paintjob and it will be ready to rock and roll with the new system.
