Hi all, well I'm new here and I feel like I'm new to the car audio world even though about 15 years I was competing and building systems. I went off to college, gfs, jobs, real world crap and got away from it all. I actually moved more into performance orientated car things and forgot about the audio world. Well I was doing great, I had my daily driver where I wanted it speed wise, was working on some builds for others and enjoying life. Then I bought a new head unit for my car. :D and my quiet peaceful car audio free world was shattered.

So here I am coming here to relearn all that I forgot about car audio and to try and rediscover the good brands. I've found that alot of the brands I used to love are gone or atleast not called what they used to be, or maybe just suck now. Precision Power, Orion, MB Quartz, etc etc. I'm so out of the loop after a decade and a half. lol

So anyway, my priorities have shifted now I plan to go full on sound quality with my build as it's my daily driver and I'm beyond the need to announce to half my town that I've started my car up. lol Although I still love a pounding system.

Anyway, here's my daily driver, nothing special. 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged. It's quick for what it is, but nothing special.

    Welcome to CAT!

    Nice car!!!

So you want to look in SQ? for components try to listen to Focal... The are a great SQ speaker... If you have the budget then i would say try to look in to Steg amps. They are italian and they are VERY clean amps...

If money is not an object then you can look into Sinfoni amps.. VERY pricey though.

    Brax
    McIntosh
    Audison
    Zapco

are also awesome SQ amps that are easier to find in the U.S.... Steg and Sinfoni you may have to really look to find them...
