What's up everyone? Im brand new to the forum and fairly new to the whole car audio scene. I live in Phoenix and I drive an 08 Double Cab Tacoma. As of right now all I have in my truck is just an Alpine CDA-9887 Head Unit, and that was installed with the plan of adding subs, an amp, and possibly some after market speakers. Now the time has come where I am looking to add subs and an amp to the truck. I want two 10" subs and I've found a pretty decent setup from Crutchfield with two JL audio 10w1v2 subs that will fit in the tight space behind the rear passenger seat (the Tacoma is not the easiest truck to work with in terms of finding space to put subs). http://signature.crutchfield.com/s_...thbox+toyota+tacoma+double+cab&ssi=0&tp=27755 I know that this configuration is pricey, but I'm willing to pay the extra money for a nice enclosure that fits in perfectly behind my seat, as opposed to building my own box that may not turn out as nice, and that I may have a tough time getting two tens to fit into with the limited space. So my question now is regarding an amp. What would you recommend given that setup ^ to provide sufficient power and hopefully maintaining somewhat of a budget. Maybe around 200-250$ tops. Any help or insight anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. And if you feel like this thread would be better suited in another section of the forum by all means move it. Thanks again and I look forward to spending more time on the forum and getting my system set up!
