i've been looking for a new component set to replace my 6.5 phoenix gold comps. But i've been having a hard time trying to decide on what to get. I'm looking to spend about 100-200 for the set.Any suggestions?

you currently have the PG RSD's? there's a lot of component speakers in that range. What kind of amp do you have driving them?

I'd poke around and look at some polk components. very nice speakers and they are within your budget...

I've heard polk a while back but G3 and pedro stand by them and they say they are great speakers.

very good speakers. the tweets sound soooo smooth. my mids are playing as midbass only right know from ch's 1-2 from my nine.5 and are taking the 100 watts each like champs.

i love alpines components as well. neither polk or alpines will do you wrong. polks are mellower though.
