so i just got a car, a 99 honda civic nothin special but its mine. anyway after messin with it and exploring it i discovered wires that lead to the trunk for an amp, and i eventually will be putting in an amp; do you think i should get new wires or just use them? i dont want to take a chance with those wires and have something get messed up; but what do you guys think??? thanks
Depends on what gauge they are...check under the hood and see of all of the connections are good...If they are I'd get a new fuse...just to be sure.
DONT TRUST PRIOR INSTALLATIONS!!! Pull it ALL out and if the wiring is in good shape, re-run it properly! Might save your car from catching on fire.............

Be sure to upgrade the "big 3" For that car, you can use 8 GA. wire no problem...lessun you wanna do 4 ga.
