New box for dc level 4 12

I have a dc level 4 12 currently in a 1.5 cubic ft box tuned to 33Hz. Ive been looking at some pics and decided to redo my box and have the ports outside. This box will be 2 cubic ft tuned to 35Hz with 2 4" ports that are 26" long.

Around the pvc, im gona bondo the inside and outside and then paint the pipes black. Let me know what yall think.

 

Well im really low on money right now and i had this sub laying around in its box so i decided to redo it and see if it can be any louder. I gota have some kind of bass in my truck until i get some money. When i get my pell grant backfrom school at the end of august, im going to run 4 cerwin vega vmax 15s and 2 crossfire 1000ds in a wall.

 

Yea id definitely like to see some pics of your setup. My goal is to hit around 152 dbs with the 4 15s.

 

Yea it sux changing my mind alot. Ill get this box for the 12 done and prolly keep it for awhile until i can get enough money for the new system. The ED nine.1 will be powering the 12.

 

I got a little more done today. I was able to put bondo around the ports. Heres some pics. I havent got a chance to sand it yet. ITs just the first coat of bondo.

 

Well i got a little more progress done to my box today. I got the ports painted and i got bracing in the box. Heres a couple of pics.

 

I got it almost finished. All i have to do is sand the puddy of some of the holes. After i put it in the truck and i like it, im gona put some carpet on so all the screws will be hid. Tell me what you think/




I cant wait to hear how its sounds. I hope it pounds hard bc my buddy said that 1 12 wont be loud.

Well i got my box in. I didnt get to turn it all the way up because my little cousin was in the house asleep. It sounded good for what i could turn it up. Heres some pics.

Ill get a video as soon as i can. What do yall think? I no the box looks kinda rough but i used wood from an old box but its sealed good and im gona put carpet over it anyway.

 

Yea im gona put another coat of paint on the ports. I was anxious to hear so i put a quick paint job so they wouldnt be white. Its tuned to 35 Hz. It pounds pretty hard and gets low. Im happy with the outcome and ill post a vid or 2 as soon as i can.

 

Yea i def want louder tho. LOl my goal is to be in the 150 db range. Im going to try to achieve this with my upcoming system in about a month or so.
