I now ordered my second kicker cvx 12". My old amp is fried and i want to get a new bad ass amp. Both subs are 4 ohms. Any suggestions??
Any ONE ohm stable amp , mono block or 2 channel bridgable, which are pretty much the same thing anyway.......
some of the better amps that I have seen lately are the Hifonics. Esp the BXI 1606d or 2006d, they will put out 1100 and 1300 watts at 2 ohms, ive seen them in real cars with real world conditions and they really put out the power. Like viking said the Soundstreams are also very good amps. im sure caddy will say the JL or the us amps are the best, everyone will have thier own opinion based on what they have seen and heard in thier life. None of us here will recommend a ****ty brand (audiobahn) but in the end its your choice and your money. Let us know what you choose and how it sounds.
Um....I would suggest a Fujitsu Ten DA7232. It is a 2 channel amp...BUT also a class D. Output of 850 rms per channel at 2 ohms. Not bridgeable but hell with this amp there is no need
KICKER Model ZX1500.1 Sugg. Retail: $1,119.90 RMS Power in Watts, all channels driven @14.4V, 4Ω Mono ≤1.5% THD+N 750 x 1 @14.4V, 2Ω Mono, ≤1.5% THD+N 1500 x 1 Whatever you buy make sure you have the right wiring and juice 4 d amp.
If I was going to spend that kind of $$$ Id buy the Hifonics XX Colossus II super class D 3200 x 1 @ 2 ohm 2000 x 1 @ 4 ohm you can find it for about 800 to 900 $$
