Hey Man I'm new to this, just bought a second hand nikkai eapa450 amp. I intend to use the speaker/high level inputs as I dont have rca outs on my hifi. Can any of you tell me the wiring on the high level inputs. The manual doesn't show this. There are 5 inputs, what wire goes where? Cheers Man
if the amp is powering a subwoofer, then you need to run speaker wires to either your front or back speakers, or the speaker outputs behind your radio. you will tap these wires onto the speakers or speaker outputs. then connect these wires to the amp's high level inputs. if the amp is going to be powering the front or rear speakers, then you will be cutting the wires to the speakers and running them to the amp's high level inputs. then you will wire the output of the amp to the speakers that were cut. i forgot to ask, what colors are the wires that you are asking about?
Or you can buy think and it will sound even better than the amps internal line level converter http://www.pricegrabber.com/search_...0704&search=audiolink+pl2&nkw=audio+link+pl+2
how will it sound better? ive had less noise issues using the internal line level converter, than with an external. i would use the one that is built in.
There are 2 high level connectors on the amp, one for front one for rear. Each connector has five small holes for wires to push into. I need to know the order of these five inputs eg. left front speaker, left front earth, e.t.c.
That link should work....well the unit is called the Audio PL2 Speaker-Level-RCA Line Output Converter. Costs $29.99
