Hello all I am hoping you pros here can help me as I am sure you guys are far better educated in this field than I. I am looking for the best sound i can get out of a 5.25 speaker with out it costing a fortune. I have a fiberglass motorcycle fairing that holds 4 speakers. I am running a JVC head unit. Can some one please help me out, what is the best way to go? I have been told that the Polk Audio MM 521 or MM 5251 are great speakers and have the best LOUD CLEAN sound. I have also been told the ARC Audio KS series are great? Which is best?????? Also is the ARC AUdio 125.2 mini amp as good as it is lead to believe? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is what I would look for in a fairing mount speaker...Highest efficiency possible. Would not worry too much about sound quality in this application. going down the highway at 70 you want to hear it...you WILL NOT get great Sound quality...period... The higher the sensitivity the better....period.
