Need some plans for box building/Price

    I'm lookin for someone to help me out with building a ported box for my subs. listen to mostly rap so I guess the ported would be the way to go versus the sealed. If someone could tell me what information to give on here to get some plans drawn up that'd be great. Heres the subs and setup I have,

    Subs are the XS-L156P5

    I hope you have a large car

    The box should be 38-inches wide by 16.5-inches tall. The depth needs to be around 18-inches. Now lets get to the port part. The port will be 15-inches by 2.5-inches wide. Finally set the port length to around 12 to 13 inches.

    Build the box similar to the directions here

    Ok buddy thanks. I've read on here somewhere you can have lowes/home depot cut your MDF for you is that right? I want to use MDF correct. How thick does this need to be?

    Yeah they'll cut it for ya for pretty cheap.. a few cents a cut
    and 3/4 Mdf

    Nevermind, I was just sitting here drawing it up on paper and see what you mean. I'll get a estimate and hopefully if it's not to much I'll get started and let you all know how it goes.
