Hi all, I've tried to post this before, im not sure if there is a minimum post requirement before starting threads or not.

I'm basically a car audio newb and would very greatful if some of you could help me out. :D

Anyway, I am looking into "pimping" my car's audio system (mk 4 ford fiesta). I've not got the biggest budget but hopefully I can get by.

I've been looking at this sub, amp, component speakers and head unit.

Would I be able to run the speakers and sub off the amp in the link, or would I need a seperate amp for the sub. And is the RMS wattage of the sub and speakers that much? As it looks a little small

In your opinion(s) does this seem ok for a basic/beginner car audio system?

    Thanks

the amp is lacking in the power department, but will power the speakers and sub just fine.

unless you want more headroom (power) find a larger amp. that one is 40 x4 rms (continuous). maybe a 100 x 4 rating rms would suit you better.

Thanks Pedro, I did want to find a bigger amp but my budget wouldn't stretch for one. I did find this amp though and hopefully it would be ok to power the sub and speakers.

Ok then, thanks for the reply Pedro. What about this amp or will it be too powerful for the speakers? If not ive looked at another amp which is slightly smaller

    thanks again
