I have 2 Memphis M3 Cast Subwoofers 15-M312D4 500 watt rms 1000 watt peak each, they are in a ported box from Memphis audio. I have a 97 Honda Accord and want to know what is the best box for them or if the box they came with is fine. I like a lot of bass and am working on getting a new amp. Right now they are powered by a 1000 watt Kenwood amp from best buy [ i know ]. They are def underpowered but when i have the cash im going to get a Memphis amp to match. I have Alpine 6 x9 in the rear and 6.5 alpine in the front. I want to get some tight mid bass and not just have all my bass coming from the subs would an amp on my mids make that happen?? Also wanting to know how i should set the amps crossover for my sony head unit. There is a gain,bass boost and hpf , lpf setting on amp and a lpf setting on the head unit not sure how it should be set. Also when i use my ipod touch via the aux jack on my sony head unit i cant seem to get the right sound i have to use bass reducer eq on the ipod to make it sound decent is there a good setting or way to do this? a lot of questions i know but bare with me please!!
