i have a 98 ford torus. The trunk rattles like crazy and sounds horrible when my subs go off, does anyone know how to fix this problem?
on either the lid or where the latch closes on to, there will be a few bolts, just slide the 2 away from eachoter a LITTLE bit. this will tighten the seal.
you could put pressure where the trunk rattles. if the noise dies down then you know where to add deadener. the worse noise issue will be the license plate. do it first then go from there.
you'll have to sound deaden your truck lid and license plate. how much are you willing to spend to deaden?
