My system build..

    hello, im just registerd, thought this would be a great site to come learn.

    k well i need help or talk on this stereo build..

    my trucks a dodge ram 1500 single cab..
    k upfront for the head unit im gonna go with Kenwoods DNX7120, for my spreakers im running t1693c(4) from rockford, k now subs.. im gonna go with 2 T212D2 from RF and try to squeze them behind my seats.. for amping im gonna run two Clarion dpx11500, which should give me the wattage im looking for.. im also gonna run some compassitors and possibly a extra battery..

    k now someone tell me if im way off or.. gotta good start..

    i wouldnt bother with the caps. save you money and go for another batt maybe. cause those two amps will draw some juice.

    is there going to be an amp for the mids/highs?

    yeah i got a little four channel amp, for the door and componet speakers.

    do you have any wiring yet for your amps? dont skimp on that. get the good stuff. the thicker the better.

    sounds good so far! though I wouldn't run caps. after doing some research(also check out the stuff here that viking wrote on caps great tech info,and I think ranger threw in some killer stuff too on it.) but caps sound good but don't electronically add up. a second bat would probably be a good idea if your gunna run a 4:han amp for comps and sides in front... aswell as "the big three" 16 ga for the amp power wires should do you good!! I kid I kid. pedros dead on the bigger the better for powering. and that's a good HU for trucks. good selectables for the cab type.

    ok so.. presumming you guys know lots about these rockford subs.. i did some draw ups for the box measureing and fitting.. ill have to go with, 12x13x20, which works out to be.. 1.8 cubic feet.. enof or no?? i will be porting these boxes.. as for wiring.. i got 4 gauge for the ground, and 12v..

    I bet those subs would like a big ported box. if you have the space i would go bigger. like 2-2.5 net

    each sub is going to need a minimum of 1.5cuft
