i may have an internal one...im not sure though. If it were me I'd call up Soundstreams customer service and ask them what size fuse to install before the amp

AS far as the power wire goes, the fuse up near the batterycould be pretty much whatever, just depends upon the gauge of the wire you run, the fuse near the battery is to protect the wire in case of a short, NOT to protect the amp.

Soundstream always used to have on board fuses in the amps, alot of times in the craziest places that made it a pain in the butt to change!

The soundstream website doesnt have contact information on it,no phone or email heck i didnt even see my amp on their. The reason why i asked about the fuse by the battery was because i know you usually buy that fuse by the fuse that is on the amp so or you saying there is no connection betwwen the two ?
I still want to know why would soundstream build a amp and leave out the fuse their must be a reason for this . Their Pca2000d dont have one either but all their other amps do. No one should make a amp that you have to add an external fuse to it i mean is this normal i dont Know but if this is the case i read a review where a guy said his pca3500d fried itself he didnt say why but i dont want to end up like that guy.

I need you guys experience and expertise.

If the instructions do not call for a fuse near the amp than a 300 amp fuse near the battery will work fine...make sure you have atleast 0 gauge wiring
