    hi guys,

i am currently looking for 2 amp to run my 150rms 12'' pioneer sub

    200W rms x 1 at 4ohms (20-200Hz 1.0%THD) - Kenwood monoblock, 600 MAX

    OR

    175W rms x 1 at Bridged 4ohms (1kHz 1.0%THD) - kenwood 2 ch, 350 MAX

suppose monoblock is always better. jus wondering will the monoblock giv a much much better sounds compared to the 2ch one. Or they both will have similar performance.

i jus wan to know the Different between this two.

    thanks.

i would think similar, but the 2ch can be used for mids and highs if you ever upgrade the sub amp.

a mono amp will be just for a sub and may have a better built in xover.

on the 2ch the THD would be higher in the lower frequencies probably because the THD is taken at 1kHz as on the mono at 20-200Hz

    i think. lol
