mono amps

    if you have a mono amp can you hook up more than one sub to it? i have an xploid running my 2 12 subs but I want a little more thump behind it and a little bit more louder can anyone help?

    Depends on the impedence that the amp can handle. Once you start adding more subs or wiring them to a lower load it will drop your amp from 4 to 2 or even 1 ohm and it should in most cases double the power your amp puts out but it has to be rated to handle that load or it will usually go into protect.

    you can wire 100 subs to an amp as long as the amp can handle the load...there is no limit to how many speakers can be wired to an amp.
