Hi everyone I'm a total newbie when it comes car stereo. I'm not an audiophile, just looking for some decent sound. I have an existing rockford fosgate p2d210 subwoofer that i've been using. It's a year old. I got a new box to relocate the sub at a better location, however it's a bit shorter and won't clear the depth of the subwoofer. Do you recommend that I remove the bottom plastic cap to make room. What are the drawbacks? thanks much every one.
