As anyone can tell, all my posts have been questions, and rather simple ones for people who know half way what their talkin about.. Lol but you can't learn without askin, right? I've asked about my subs not sounding right when hooked up to seperate amps, and found they were running on different sized amps, so it caused alot of cancellation.. My question is, and this is jus an example, if you have something like 2 15s, and you want to use 8s as midbass, how can you do that without causing cancellation? Or if it doesn't cancel out the 15s too bad, how can you hear tha 8s? Like I said, this is probably a simple answer, it's jus kinda confusing me... I was wondering, cause I might be doin a set up similar to this pretty soon..
If you are using the 8's as midbass, they will play only a certain frequency and higher. So, to set the frequency adjust it higher than the 15's because they will only play say... 80Hz and down if your low pass is set there, so set ure mids like 80Hz Highpass or around there and then they wont cancel anything.
Yeah, they'd be mounted with the 15's.. but what about other woofers? I understand what Jonny was sayin, but like if I had 2 12s and a 15.. Would they need to all put out the same amout of power of what?
