Well, last night I saw a trail leading into the garage, right under the Buick. so I jacked it up and found a big ole puddle under it, tranny fluid. It was coming from the weep hole in the inspection cover. In the morning I refilled her ( 3 quarts of fluid low!!!) and took her into the shop. I figured the tranny was going to have to come out, so I got a new front pump, TC seal, pump seals, input shaft (for some reason I eat these things up :p ), a case of type F fluid annnndddd, a torque converter (tee-hee)...

Well, I bumped the stall up considerably to 3700 (tee-hee), and jammed it together... I had to gas it to get it to roll out of the shop (tee-hee), and took her down the street. Well, it was raining out and the Nat was always difficult to controll in the rain (hey, 2700stall, over 525Lb/ft of torque, and a tight 373 posi with wide tires is hard to handle in the rain) but OMFG. I had to gas it a bit coming out of the shop lot to get into the busy traffic, and the car came out from under me like a shot. I mean, bang, I was in the other lane. I was like...holy crap.

I will have to mellow my driving some, as far as pulling out into traffic I mean. I took it down along the train tracks (dead empty street) and shredded it... I mean shredded it. It was wet and all, but I swear I carried a quarter mile ripping the tires up all the way into drive. This SOB is really mean now. I can't wait to get it on dry pavement.

    I'm a happy boy!!!:D :D
