Morning all, I have a few questions here. First, turns out I have a 4 DVC 12" L7. How do I combine that with another 12 to get down to 2 ohms stable, since I have a 2500ZX Kicker and they are only stable to 2 ohms, or so they say ?? Also, has anyone ever tried combining sub sizes ? I have the 12" L7, but I also have to 2-10" L7. what if I built one box, separated the 2 sub sizes, and used the 2500 to run everything. Should be enough power, just not sure about the 1 amp. I would rather buy another sub than buy another amp. Ideas ?? Thanks in advance !
assuming you can get the right impedance load your subs will most likely not be receiving the same power from the amp. you would need 2 dual 2Ω coils to get the 2 ohms you want or 3 more dual 4 coil 12's. now that would be loud. what coil configuration are the 10's?
