these guys are a complete mystery to me, they seem to make quality stuff as far as i can tell. buddy i met online has a few high comp solo channel class D's from them, he was going to sell me at a reasonable mark down, and i was looking at there 4 channel amps, and i found this little guy, whitch blows me away with the ratings it claims, it seems to be claiming 200 watt rms x4, so 200 rms PER channel, and it claims to be very clean power. this guy im talking to, has done comp, and he delt witht hem alot, he was sponsored by them, whitch is how he came to own 8 of these class D 4000 watt rms amp's. ;P the one i'm looking at for speakers, it this one. not enough info on all the power outputs. sure it says its THD is .05% but at what load? 8 ohm or 4 ohm. cause there is no way in hell its .05 thd at a 2 ohm stereo load x4. i know their big amps are popular with competitors around here. FL. and i knew of one person running their subs. was tuned high for numbers so they sounded like ass on music. they just seemed too loose to look like they play deep bass. he was doing 145's with 4 12's too on crappy sony 1200 watt amps. anyways back to the ratings. that 200 x4 is most likly a max rating and not rms (continuous). so keep looking cause those are cheap. look at amps that tell you all the ratings in rms, and the thd @ all loads. most companies may not say, but some may. your looking for clean power not raw dirty power. an amp with 50 clean low distortion watts will always sound better than 100 dirty watts.
yeah, for the 4 channel, i went with a 4 channel alpine, PDX 4.150. right now thats ordered and being shipped, along with 1 set of infinity kappa perfect 6.1's and 1 set of JBL C608GTi-mkII, the set i was asking about in another topic, they are rated higher, i'll probobly keep the gains down on the front, as to not send them to much power as there only rated for 100 rms, not the 150 rms, that the PDX 4.150 is :| can't wait for them i'm doing quite a few things, doing something like this guy in my rare seat, this is sombody elses image, but Ive already started the process, started the base this afternoon after work, and i'll be working on the boxes this weekend between studying for my placment exams for college
