My Tuner reception is fairly shitty with the new Alpine, like it was with the Xplod. The reception gets even more staticky when I turn on my heat. The recption was perfect when I had my stock HU and after my car was broken into, they put the stock one back in, and yet again it was perfect. Whats the deal?
I've never had good radio reception with an aftermarket HU. I don't care either though as i NEVER listen to the radio.
tru....but i have tried listening to the radio nowadays and it sucks.... when the crap was broken into did it fray or do anything to the antenna wire? they're supposed to be VERY shielded and when not they're very susceptible to interference
The antenna is securely attached.....as a matter of fact I cant take it out. BTW....my system keeps knocking out the bulbs out of the brackets in my break lights...lol Damn thing rattles like a ford :lol:
Weird, I get excelent reception with my Kenwood. I dont really use the radio though. This may sound weird but clean your antena. Might help.
