leesburgh show.yes another show.

all righty fellas.its show time again!! i sold some of my stuff and got some gas money to go and compete.total coincidence that this stuff sold too. oh how lucky i am.

kicker box ,L5 10 ,PA amp, and an old pioneer cd player. cut he kid a break for 160 cash.

this is the show that was cancelled due to a hurricane last month. now im off on saturdays and can make this one.

 

thanks CC. im hoping for the best at this one. i put my 12's back in. and i know what to play for the loudest spl.

im in the stock 1 class now and can burp it instead of playing music to get my score.

they still flop like fish below tuning freq tho. 40-39hz. they will play low bass just not loud at all.

i just want to see what they can do on the meter. if i blow em.. oh well.

 

ok last night i went shopping and decided to flex the 12's some,and i put in a lil jon cd ( i use for bassrace) and i play the song bitch.

lets just say my ears still hurt today. i only blasted the bass for about a sec really loud and it hurt. i wont be doing that anymore. i can listen to it loud,but i mean i went full on the bass and the head on 40/63. i never go to 40 just 32/35 on music. bass on 1/4-2/3.


i was shocked at how loud this got. i'm going to walmart to buy my own ear phones so i dont have to use the sweaty one's they give you in the lanes. if this doesnt get me in the forties......well.......

ok i'm up now. dang dogs got there own internal pee clock. woke me up an hour before my alarm. i hate them.... really i do.


anyways last night i did some things to try and keep in some pressure.

i bought some weather stripping tape and put some on my hatch and side vent windows. they aint moving as much anymore,and the hatch is tight! so the back window shouldnt move as much either.

i do need to find some thin weather stripping though for the side vent windows as the ones on there now are a lil to thick.

i used 3/4" and need 1/4". i guess i'll have to go to lowe's for some.

 

ok im home. did pretty good. got 2 1st's. one in IDBL. did a 142.1 @52hz burp.

also competed in the 139.9 class. only 2 people in there.me and a new team mate. i did a 139.4 at full blast. it sorta was going from a .4 to.5 ended with the .4. got me a trophy. my bud started really loud and was at 139.9 in the first 10 seconds then he turned it down too much and could not catch up in time. good for me cause he qualified with a 139.7.

i qualified with a 137.7. i had the vol too low in the beginning, but a team mate had a termlab and let me and a few team mates practice. the 139.4-.5 was all i could do on his too. even moving the box around.


anyways not too bad considering he had a 1200 watt amp and 2 12's and i had 600 rated at 12v. closer to 700 at 12v.

i wonder what she really does at 13.7-9 thats what it gets when im running at 1500-2000 rpm.

um like over 12 or so(idbl,bassrace and one or 2 bassboxing)
and 3 or 4 2nd place metals. a few i got from being the only one in my class. oh well. so maybe 6 or 7 from competing with at least 1 other person.

i would have taken more pics but all the others were not photo worthy. some were just bad.

 

that why i didnt have too many pics. one guy had his sub box on the back seat and his amp on the floor.

the guy with the wall and 2 15's had his amps laying loose on the floor behind his seats too.




this kid had good amps (kicker 750.1's,2 of em) and thought they were crap.

i told him its only as good as your install. look at the gounds.
