i have 2 orion hcca 12's and i was wandering if two 4000 watt lanzar amps would be a bad choice for now until i get more money to get a more powerful amp????
got a link to the lanzar amp you're thinking about getting? are these your subs? http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17772
if it's the lanzar opti like this: http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14844 They are pretty good but i still don't think they put out rated power. If it's not the OPTI then I wouldn't get it. What's your budget for the amps?
ya its at http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-4000-WATT-LANZAR-VIBE286-Car-Audio-Amp-Amplifier_W0QQitemZ230346691457QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Amplifiers?hash=item35a1bb9381&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 and no i have the 12.4 not the 12.2
well see the orions really broke me and i was wanting something around 300 for now until i can save up enough money to get something better
I can imagine. those are some really expensive subs. VERY nice!!! so $300 for amp to power them? have you looked into other forums for some good used amps? I'll try to look around to see what i can come up with
Your Orions are DVC 4ohm? This amp may not fully power it but it will keep you plenty happy while your saving.. 3200 watts at 1ohm. Don't expect it to put a full 3200 but it will push your subs nicely.. I hope you have good electrical and speakers up front to keep up with the bass your gonna have. http://www.woofersetc.com/p7637/BAMF55001D--Power-Acoustik-Monoblock-5500-Watt-ClassD-BAMF-Series-Amplifier.htm http://www.woofersetc.com/p7650/OVN15500D-Power-Acoustik-Monoblock-5500-Watt-ClassD-Gothic-Series-2009-Amplifier.htm
both of those amps are the same i believe. same power output just look different. while they may not put out 3200 watts without a good amount of power they will more than suffice. even if they produce 2k. its still 2k and thats a lot!
They are the same. different casings... But, electro had one of those 5500D's and he loved it on his Stroker. i would recommend it.
http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=430792 there ya go... then you can just keep adding batts and get more and more and more power if i remember right.
