I just got Kicker Comp VR 10" and I've never used Kicker before. How does it rate compared to other brands from what you've heard? Anyone ever heard this sub play?
i used to have a lil kicker 10 in a sealed enclosure on 300 watts and it was a nice sounding sub, very tight deep bass for the y way it was set up. (in a spare tire, sealed) it was very stealth, but i killed it when i added some more power to it, then i ended up with an L5 10 in a 2.0 cuft box after i returned it under warranty. it too sounded good. if you ask me its all about the box. its been said here before. the box is 90% of the sound.
