Kick Panels

    The Koda's are designed for off axis mounting, and give a flat response when mounted that way. Putting them in kick pannels will make them brighter. Also, the mids are going to be in a smaller enclosure, so you will lose some midbass. I think it would make it worse rather than better.

    I would recomend instead using that money to pick up a processor with delay capabilities. That will give you the couple miliseconds of delay you would get from the kick pannels, but without effecting the frequency response.

    what should i use for kick panels? are you saying use the stock mounting positions?

    if you do end up getting a Qlogic kick.....you should fabricate it with couple layers of fiberglass to make it stronger!!!!
    b/c those Qlogic kicks are made of thin plastic and it can sound worse than your factory location...

    That is where they were designed to be mounted. I think you will get the best performance that way.
