its been awhile since ive been here...got back on the internet...got my bills paid but...eh anyway...lol im trying to decide whether to get the Kenwood KDC MP959 or the Pioneer 7400 mp the kenwood i can get online for 500 the pioneer...i can get online for about 415 but if mike can get me the kenwood for about....475-480....then im sold... ive heard the pionners are really slow with mp3's i want these because i have my entire cd collection converted to mp3/wma its like half and half and itd be pointless to just get a mp3 player anyway i need your guys's help... thanks for all your helo
Well my Kenwood MP919 is blazing fast at switching MP3's after you initially put the disk in. When you first put the disk in it takes like 10 seconds, after that it acts like a regular cd.
I've heard the Kenwood's are quite fast myself. I've had the Pioneer 7400 and played with the 940 Premier and they're both much slower than my Alpine 7894. My vote goes for Kenwood (or an Alpine! ).
This may be superficial but looks count. Alpines dont appeal to my taste for some reason. Actually the blue ones are pretty nice. What new Pioneer models are coming out in a few months? I need to know if I should wait
