Hi everyone, first time poster, long time reader.

I was hoping for some input as I've been doing research and haven't been able to clarify the exact answers to my questions. The title shows my set up - I need to talk about optimal HPF and LPF settings to get the best sound out of my system.

On my HU, there is a cross over adjustment for the front, rear, and sub. From my understanding, if I set the F/R HPF to ~80 and the Sub LPF to ~80, I will recieve full range of sound, with all frequencies below 80 going to my sub, and all higher than 80 going to my door speakers, correct? I have no filter on the powered sub itself, so I do not use anything on that piece of equipment. It's response is ~27-120 hz from the manufacture's website.

Also, in the EQ menu, for Bass, and Mids, I have a Q-Factor setting, and I am still a little unclear how that plays into the equation. Can anyone provide any input on that? I'm looking to find out what the settings from 1.0 - 2.0 mean and how I can optimally set them up with the equipment I have.

Thanks again, look forward to hearing everyone's input.
