Should sound alright. Personally I don't like the Kenwood typhoon type subs. I listened to them at Best Buy and they started to distort at not even that high of power. You could clearly hear the cone distortion.

But if you buy/make the right box for it than it should sound good.

Maybe a single KFC-W3514DVC instead of the duals?

I really really love these subs.

A good friend of mine has a pair of these in a Q-Logic ported box with a pioneer 760watt amp and it sounds sooooo clean and smooth. I mean these subs won't miss a beat and they pound when you want them to.
(older model of this amp...I personally think that this older model of this amp is better than the new ones and yes i know they are pretty cheap)

IMHO I think that these subs are better than most subs the same price and even better than subs that are even higher priced.

Even if you go with the G1 series you will be very pleased.

I'm getting a pair of these myself after I get rid of my old school rockford fosgate RFZ3810's. If your interested I can give you a really really good deal on these. In like new condition except a very little hole in the surround that iI can fix easily.
