Kenwood Help

    I have a Kenwood KVT 512 DVD player. I was able to use the Ipod cable to control the Ipod up until about 3 days ago. Now, it is still charging, but it shows the Ipod as disconnected. If I control the Ipod with the Ipod itself, it will play audio, but no video. I have tried a new cable, and several different Ipods and get the same results. Any suggestions as to where to start troubleshooting this. I really don't want to have to rplace the H/U but don't want to lose this function. Everything else works fine. Thanks.

    Can you try another ipod? and is there a reset button on the HU?

    I did both. I have tried three different Ipods, and have reset the H/U. Still.....Nothing.

    Try cleaning the USB plug on the radio? Thats the only thing i can think of...
    It might be your HU, i hope its under warranty?

    I will try cleaning the USB. Hopefully that works. I have had the H/U since it first came out, so, unfortunately, it's no longer under warranty.
