KENWOOD Excelon KAC-X812D... is she done for or no.

    Hey
    Ive been lurking for some time but never had a need to post, or had any answers to any of the tougher questions. I have a KENWOOD Excelon KAC-X812D amp and Im running 2 Alpine type R 12's. The KENWOOD drains power from the truck and kills my battery. Its been sent back to japan and EVERYWHERE and needs to be rebuilt again. It has a tiny lil' mofo thats been already fixed twice on the main board. I bet its a mangled mess. What do I do?. my warranty is obviously voided because the company actually went bankrupt. Is there somewhere i could get the main boards diagram and give it to the local college electrical engineering guys.. Im lost. ALSO. if this amp is a lost cause im going to go cheap$ what in this list would be a better amp if anyone knows..?:huh:

    Well if the Kenwood has been giving you continious problems just get another amp cause it will probably keep giving you more problems. Of your choices I would not choose any of them, many years ago Lanzar built awesome amps, their optidrive amps were well known on the competition circuit. But the company was sold or went bankrupt and got new owners, they have built pretty much junk since them. if your looking for cheap power look at Crunch, they are built by the same company that builds Hifonics, Mb Quart and Autotek. Good quality with very good power and quite cheap also.

    also look at power acoustik. What is your budget for this amp?
