I installed these yesterday. they don't sound very good. It's not the speakers-it's the way they're mounted. They aim the sound at my knees. If I duck my head down low, it's much better. The Ford speakers and no name tweets in the rear sound much better. I'm hesitant to put some components up front-the midrange will still be aimed the wrong way. What do you guys think? But it's not a total loss-they sound good with the rear as "fill". But on their own not so good. Here's photos. The Kenwood and the factory speaker. Before Dynamat. Yes but it would be more work than i want to do. What do you have in the dash? I've read that car manufacturers don't know much about speaker placement and sound quality. I believe it.
