Keep my current head or swap it out?

    Hi,

I'm looking to install new audio into my 2010 Sub Outback. The car has the current premium audio without the Nav. I want to install Focal K2's front, Focal coax rear, 600watt JL-HD4, then two 10"subs with another JL-HD 750

I was looking to upgrade the head unit to the topline Pioneer, AVIC. But I was thinking if I could control the existing head unit sound, it might be fine to keep.

The 'premium' harmon karmon head unit is pretty integrated into the car, steering wheel, bluetooth, aux in, ipod, etc. 5 cd changer and xm radio. It has basic Bass, Mid, and Treble controls (-8 to +8), and looks stock.

Is there something out there (high quality EQ?) that will let me control the output sound to a level to take advantage of all the great grear? or should I go for the AVIC.

    Thanks
