just installed in dash navi/dvd

hey guys i am new to this forum but today i installed clarion nx409 in my 2008 honda accord coupe.

i am having trouble with dvd mode.

the guy said he bypassed it but i cant watch dvd while it is parked with ebrake pulled nor driving.. i only hear audio..

what is going on? but i have full access to the navi controls.

he said he did not hvae to put a switch for on and off because he grounded the ebrake
