hey i am trying o make a box for my 12in W1 i cant find how many cubic inchs i need does sombody no or have a manual please help oh will a rockford p3001 mono amp power this W 1 thanks
On the JL site under discontinued woofers you'll find your 12W1 The thermal power handling of it is 125 watts The normal recommended sealed enclosure volume is 1.5 cu ft for 4 and 8 ohm models The normal recommended ported volume for the 4 ohm model is 2.5 cu ft with a 4in diameter round port 12.3 inches deep The normal recommended ported volume for the 8 ohm model is 2.75 cu ft with a 4in diameter port 9.7 inches deep Both ported boxes are tuned to approximately 30Hz If your sub is the 4 ohm model than the 300.1 will work perfectly with it...if it is the 8 ohm model than I would sell it and get the 300.2
