I currently have a 15" kicker installed using a vibe 4awg wiring kit that states a max of 2000watt. I want to install a power cap but need more wire, halfords sell a metre long 4awg wire but this says 750watt. Can the same size wires have different wattage capacitys or will this be fine? I'd forego the cap. Check out the thread on here to find out why they're a waste of money. What kind of amp are you using? Provided the wire itself is actually the correct gauge and doesn't just have a thicker outer sheath that is included in the measurement, the watt rating should be irrelevant.
