    Pyle In Dash Tv http://www.pyleaudio.com/itemdetail.asp?model=PLTVR5

and a Phoneix digital Dvd player for 300 shipped. Barely used....

Can anyone count on the quality of these items?
I know that the sound wont be nearly as good as a 860mp(option A) but it may be a bargain.

One thing I have learned is to not always apply a companies reputation on every field they produce stuff in. An example is Audiovox. We used to install their alarms at the old shop I worked at, and in 2 years, we never had one fail. So maybe the Pyle monitors are good, you never know. But then, is it worth it to take the chance?

I'm not a fan of in-car video at all... take it or leave it, but let me explain:

You can't watch it when you are driving, and when you are in the car, you are driving.
If you aren't driving, that means you are at home, or your destination.

And if I'm at home, I'd MUCH rather be reclining on my sofa, cherry coke at hand, kitchen to the right, bathroom to the left, cat curled up in my lap... watching my nice 32" TV, rather than squinting at some low-res 8" screen...
...particularly when the 32" had the same price tag.

I'm not into spending money on my passengers, since they are the ones that'll be able to use it... even if they WERE shelling out money for it, it's MY car, dammit. :p

I'm particularly not into that when it's integrated with my source unit, since that'll inherently take away from some of the functionality of "the audio system that could've been", and complicates the controls (ergonomics).
