    I like the looks of this sub......

    Nice Xmax, VERY NICE efficiency, and decent power handling.

    The looks of this thing make me think, 2 of them in a vented box, run off about, oh, say a 275 SX Orion.

    Lets see now,
    2 Subs @ 93.6 dB, thats about 97 dB @ 2.83 volts of drive
    Then vented, thats another 3 dB for a total of 100 dB
    Then factor in in car response witch is almost always atound another 10 dB of gain
    Thats 110 dB at very little power! Run with about 300 watts it wouild be an honest 134 dB system! Plenty loud and plenty low. And look at the price!

    I have used dayton and eminance drivers in the past in pro audio applications with VERY GOOD luck. For the money, i think they would be worth a try!

    Hell, just doing some thinking!

    ive herd nothing but good things actually about dayton subs....

    im sure with your knowledge of box building and the like would only push those speaks to their spl and sq limits

    I like dayton...they are an american made company too right??? and who doesn't love something american made....i do and im vietnamese for poops sake

    I wanna do a sub in my sons car. That might be the sub.

    If the sub was driven respectably, and not abused extensively, I am sure it would make one hell of a sub bass driver for a long time.
