Any chance I could install sirius in my Tahoe (with XM) without having to put in one of the receivers that sits on the dash? Could I just have it installed and run through the factory reciever? I'd like to do it mainly because I hate XM and my dad already has sirius and we could get a price break on it.
    Thanks

As far as I know, you can have one or the other, but not both. Now I have installed Sirius Tuners in place of the XM tuner in a couple of GM trucks.

The tuner we use is the SIR-GM1 SiriusConnect Tuner. This tuner is plug and play. You will have to install a new antenna (included), but that is the hardest part of the install.
