installed new pioneer 2900 and sound is off and on. it works when it wants to. i went to the store and it worked fine.came back no sound.cd playing but no sound.i have a 02 tahoe and just wondering if it had something to do with onstar or the pre amp in the car and how do i bypass it.thanks alot.oh and the stock deck was delco
Intermittent problems are usually caused by an install problem or a speaker problem. First thing I would do is plug in the factory deck and see if this solves the problem. If it does then we can diagnose from there. Preamp, what preamp? Oh and the onstar is not causing the problem.
